If the quote is accepted by the customer, a 50% deposit (non refundable) is required to begin the project.

The products are manufactured in our warehouse located on the south shore of Montreal (Quebec, Canada) for a period ranging from 3 to 5 weeks after receipt of deposit.

For special and custom orders, manufacturing lead times will be based on the complexity of the products to build and the availability of materials.

For customers wishing to add items that we do not sell with their terrarium, the items may be sent to our warehouse so they are installed in a safe and aesthetic way.

We accept the following payment methods: Visa & Mastercard through Paypal, Interac e-mail transfer, personal checks *, certified checks, cash, money orders and bank transfers.

* Personal and certified checks can take 5 to 7 business days before being confirmed by our bank. Your order will be put into production only when payment has been approved.

All sales made within Quebec are subject to GST (5%) and QST (8.5%).

Sales made outside of Quebec are subject to 5% GST only.

Please note that shipping and handling charges are not included in our prices. As transportation costs vary greatly depending on the size of the product, each shipment is handled individually to offer you the best rates and best service possible.

Unless otherwise stated, all our orders are sent by Greyhound (Epedibus), Day & Ross, Fedex or Sameday Shipping.

Once your loan package you will receive an email with the delivery date and tracking number of the shipment.

Packing and handling

It should be noted that a fee of $8.00 to $ 25.00 (per cage) can be added when the products must be shipped out.

• Avoid placing objects on your terrarium or other smaller sized terrariums. Our terrariums are made to be stacked on other Sly Plastics terrariums with the same width.


• Place your terrarium at least 12 inches off the ground. A terrarium placed too close to the ground could cause problems with temperature control.


• Place your terrarium on a firm flat surface covering at least the area of the terrarium.


• If you want to install yourself an incandescent or a fluorescent light inside your terrarium, please contact us so we can tell you what to do. Only the fluorescent lights we supply are recommended. Improper installation could cause irreparable damage to your terrarium.


• We strongly recommend that you use a thermostat to control the temperature of your terrariums. Improper temperature control could be harmful or cause the death of your reptiles.


• Clean your terrarium with a non-abrasive cleaning agent and paper towels. Avoid using sharp tools when cleaning. To clean your enclosures, we recommend OxyFresh.

Failure to follow these instructions could cause irreparable damage to your terrarium.
